Huawei has revealed the Watch GT 3 Pro, a smartwatch series showcased alongside the Band 7 and the Mate Xs 2 in China. While Huawei has not commented on an international release yet, it has outlined the Watch GT 3 Pro's features in its home market. Like Huawei's other smartwatches, the Watch GT 3 Pro will be available in two sizes and several styles.
Specifically, Huawei has released 42.9 mm and 46.6 mm versions of the Watch GT 3 Pro. According to Huawei's website, the former comes in white ceramic and white leather finishes. Incidentally, these are the designs that leaked before the Watch GT 3 Pro's official introduction. In comparison, Huawei will sell the 46.6 mm version of the Watch GT 3 Pro in grey leather and black fluoroelastomer finishes.
For reference, these names only apply to the watch band with which the smartwatch ships. As far as we can tell, all 42.9 mm versions have ceramic bodies, with Huawei reserving titanium for the larger models. Still, all models have AMOLED displays, although 42.9 mm variants have 1.32-inch panels, compared to the 1.43-inches ones in 46.6 mm models.
Additionally, all Watch GT 3 Pro models can take ECGs and feature the usual set of health-tracking sensors for measuring your heart rate, SpO2 levels and stress levels, among others. Similarly, the Watch GT 3 Pro comes with over 100 sports modes, is 5 ATM water-resistant and provides divers with real-time data. Moreover, Huawei has preloaded maps for over 300 golf courses that are compatible with the Watch GT 3 Pro's built-in GPS module.
The Watch GT 3 Pro starts at CNY 2,488 (~US$379) and rises to CNY 4,688 (~US$715) for the 43 mm version with a ceramic strap. Huawei is already selling all Watch GT 3 Pro models on Vmall, but orders will not ship until next month.
